The Electronic Arts area is dedicated to the education of students, training them as electronic/digital media artists that employ new and emerging technologies. The undergraduate and graduate programs encourage experimentation with new ideas, forms and models for realizing and presenting innovative artwork. The curriculum combines history, theory and practice in electronic arts/digital media, and it nurtures interdisciplinary investigation and learning. Electronic Arts faculty and students are actively involved with the Arts, Research, Technology and Science Laboratory [ARTS Lab], a dynamic university-wide center for interdisciplinary research and education. |
